Let's talk marriage....

In my mind people give up on marriage to easily. Back in the old days it was taboo to get a divorce. Whilst I, a modern women, find this weird I do understand it to an extent. I do feel that in modern times people are giving bullshit excuses as to the reason for divorcing. This is not OK. The whole "I'm divorcing because of irreconcilable differences" is so lame. I feel that a divorce should only be granted if adultery is involved or there was domestic violence. A vague excuse, in my books, just doesn't cut. I know what your all thinking. How can you call yourself a modern women when some of your views are archaic? That's easy to answer. Unlike our ancestors I'm willing to listen to the flip side of the coin. I'm determined to make something of myself whilst keeping my traditional place within my home. I'm married so I can understand how hard marriage can be. It's funny how people automatically assume that your going to get a divorce all because you've had an argument. It is not all roses and sunshine. It takes hard work and effort to make a marriage work successfully. Marriage fundamentally is about working as a team. You have to be willing to compromise. I don't think people are often willing to do that. In the media we get dictated to about what it means to be a modern women. For many women I feel that this is the reason for the decline in people getting married at a young age. Women are often the target of these articles which is why I feel more and more of them are declining marriage proposals. The media definitely have a big affect on people. Those who have a traditional marriage get branded as weird by the media. I feel that this is part of the reason why people have lost their way. It's time to stop listening to crappy marriage advice from the crappy media and start to make up your own mind. I recently found out that many of the people giving these marriage advice are either bitter and divorced or never been married. In this sense I would only take advice from someone who is married. The bias in these articles is very apparent and should not be taken. I didn't listen to them and now I've been happily married for nearly 2 years. I love my husband and no matter how many arguments we have I will NEVER divorce him. I know that in the end he's got my back as I have his. I choose to be in a traditional relationship with him. That's what works for us. Neither of us are perfect but what makes us stand out is that we are prepared to do what it takes to stay together. I've heard a lot of people say that we are a weird couple. I didn't understand for awhile why people said this until a little while ago. It's because they haven't seen a traditional marriage in a long time. I'm not talking the modern sense of traditional - I'm talking about the traditional marriage that our grandparents and great grandparents had. Anyway that's enough of my ramblings for tonight on marriage. Catch you later

Video Review

Autism usually starts showing around age 2. It’s different in everyone though. Depending on where you are on the spectrum depends on the type of life you will have. I can understand what they’re saying. It’s sad that some people don’t have the right support system. I guess there is still a lot of stigma attached to autism. I struggled growing up with autism. As an adult I do so much better. I live a normal - ish life. I have my routines. I’m married. I’m a student. And I’m going to be a mother. I don’t think I could achieve this if I hadn’t of had my coping mechanisms and my husbands encouragement.

The only problem I have is that they’re so negative about autism in general. I don’t agree with that. I get that they couldn’t cope but they went around the situation the wrong way. It makes me a little bit angry. They need to start with being positive. Positivity rubs off. My baby brother has a worse form of autism than me. He’s 6 years old and he responds so well to positivity. As the elder sibling I love encouraging him and letting him know when he’s done well. My mum makes sure that she sends me what progress he’s made. He’s doing so well.

I’m not only proud of myself for how far I’ve come but I’m also so proud of my brother. He’s still got a long way to go but I know I can help guide him. My husband and my brother get on so well. I think that’s helped him because he can see a visual of how to be with both females and males.

I think that these boys in the clip are quite high up on the spectrum. Unfortunately there is a side to autism where others have it “worse” but the parents need to learn better techniques to learn to cope. It’s not all one sided. It’s about team work and figuring out what works. The negativity from the parents is abit gross. It’s not about forgiving. The son has a condition. These parents need training big time

Dealing With Situations

People deal with things differently in this life. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you are we all go through good times and bad times. What defines us as individuals is how we deal with situations. Sometimes dealing with a bad situation can be the hardest thing to do. A lot of the times it’s not about the situation but about the people that have done it. When someone accuses you of something or has hurt you in some way accepting it and dealing with it appropriately is the hardest. Regardless of what it is the hurt can be unbearable. It can be worse if the person is close to you. There actions are not your problem - it’s there’s. As long as you know your truth that’s all that matters. The truth always reveals itself. The only persons who’s actions your responsible for is yours. Nobody can fault you for that. As long as you tell the truth and keep your cool nobody can fault you.

Schools

Recently there have been more and more news reports of students packed lunches being sent home because teachers have deemed they’re packed lunch’s not healthy enough. This is appalling. Teachers have no right to dictate what a student can and can not eat. That should be up for the discretion of the parents. I feel that it steps over the line when a teacher starts interfering with what goes into the children. After showing my husband a news article on offending topic we have a debate. Pregnant with our first child we have found that we have some strong views on parenting which some may controversial. Back to the topic at hand. Whilst debating we both came to the conclusion that a small cookie and the odd packet of crisps does not make the lunch unhealthy. What is unhealthy is trying to force a child under the age of 11 to think about nutrition. Excuse me we all know about how the food situation is going. If schools are that concerned they should talk to the parents and NOT THE STUDENTS. An 11 year old doesn’t want to listen what’s good for there health. As long as it’s tasty and fills them up that’s all most people below aged 11 care about. I can tell you that under the age of 11 I didn’t care what was nutritional good for me. All I wanted was for it to taste good and be done with it. Schools are meant to teach. They need to stick to the texts books and not nosy through the children’s lunchboxes. When our unborn child reaches schooling age I’ll home school then if they’re perfectly healthy lunch gets sent home because it’s apparently not healthy enough. Absolutely disgusting

My problem with Ariana Grande

Everyone knows the name Ariana Grande. Everyone  knows who she is and what they think she is like. I however am not convinced of her fake facade. I feel that she is  fake. I have a good reason to believe this and in this blog I will explain every step to you. Over the years Ariana Grande has shown a pattern of behaviour which has become a little bit worrying. This behaviour shows that she has not changed one little bit. Miss Grande having the platform she has should have realised that every time she speaks bad about her ex's  her fan base goes after them. Every time this happens she does not come out immediately to defend them and tell her fans to stop. She waits until the internet is dragging her then jumps to her exes defence. In my opinion this is shady and not right. Her followers defend her no matter what she does. Excuses are made for her constantly. I don't like to throw insults but at this stage her fans are like sheep. The likes of Kanye West and other rappers have done behaviour similar to what Ariana Grande has done. They get dragged for there behaviour and  nobody makes excuses for them. What is so special about Ariana? I don't see anything special about her. All I see is a spoilt brat acting out. If she wasn't in the public eye, the general public would tear her apart. Talk about double standards. In my eyes she has done nothing to earn her fame. She's rude, she's obnoxious and clearly she doesn't care about her fans at all. For someone who supposedly loves her fans so much - I find it funny how she abandoned them when the bomb went off at her concert in Manchester. Nobody is blaming Ariana Grande for the tragedy that claimed lives at her concert but there is a way of doing things. The problem I had with Ariana and the concert is that she did not attempt to save some of her young fans who died that night. I honestly feel that because of this she does not care about her fans. If Ariana truly cared she would have done everything she could have to make sure that those who are bleeding but could have been saved were safe. I read a report which stated that some of the lives lost that night could have been saved. I will always give Ariana Grande the side eye because she left the arena with her security and did not attempt to make sure her fans were ok. This in my eyes is out of order.  I don't care how scared you were. If you Ariana truly care about your fans you would have done  the right thing without the cameras. I'm not done yet with how I disagree with Ariana Grande. You seriously thought that was it? If I wanted to I could go on for days but I simply don't have time for that.  Like you I have a life. I'll keep my final arguments for today short. Most people know that this year  Mac Miller died from a suspected overdose. Ariana and Mac Miller we're together for awhile. They dated on and off for awhile until Ariana Grande unceremoniously dumped him. Mentioning his name in a song like she did is absolutely disgusting. So I would say Ariana definitely profited off of Macs death.  This isn't the action of somebody who was mourning the death of a loved one. This is the actions of the person who is calculated and wanted to milk the situation for their own gain. I'm done for tonight. Be sure to leave a comment

Let's get real for a second.......

Today I  got accused of disrespecting the british royal family. I got fed up of being disrespected like that. This person took what I'd written on Instagram about the family connection with the romanovs out of context. Whilst I like to be challenged I felt that this was unfair. This person who I subsequently blocked did not realise  that what they were  saying was not only offensive but also made them look very ignorant. Ever since I was a child I said what's on my mind evanthough it hasn't always been what other people have agreed with. Never have I been accused of using my blog to to disrespect other people. If holding someone accountable for there actions is disrespectful then I'm not sorry. At the end of the day you don't know me or my family. I'm blogging about this because I feel that it is important to get the message out there.  Whilst I subsequently got hurt by the comment this stranger made under a comment I made months ago - I learnt a very valuable lesson. You never truly know who is behind the screen, what their motives are or what they are going to think about the digital you. So when you see me on the internet or anyone else on there as a matter of fact think before you reply to a comment. People get hurt. Have a good day

I had a meltdown.....

So yesterday I had a meltdown. I’m not proud of it but after thinking about it I think I know what sparked it. People who know me well will know that when I don’t feel well I become a moody cow. Yesterday morning I suddenly got a temporature which quite frankly left me feeling extremely sick and lethargic all day. When I did wake up my husband tried to be loving to me but I didn’t want to know. I know that people are going to interpret this as me falling out of love with my husband when that is far from the truth. I f-cking adore my husband and I didn’t want him to hug me because I was burning up. Pretty normal stuff. After having several phone calls I felt attacked. Bearing in mind I have a beautiful relationship with all the people who rang me yesterday this was odd even for me. I couldn’t figure it out until like 20 minutes ago. Not only was I distracted but I was getting concerned of my physical changes. I’m 8 days late on my period. Usually I bloat up and put on weight. This time I’ve lost a lot and subconsciously I’ve been worried. As for being distracted - I’ve been feeling my depression creep back. At this stage in my life I just want to get my history degree and be a Mum. With everything going on in my head and my immune system being weak I think that I was being a f-cking snowflake and way to sensitive. That’s okay though. I’m human. I’m allowed to have feelings you know
