Boris Johnson recently compared women wearing niqabs to letter boxes and bank robbers. For those of you who don’t know burkas, niqabs and hijabs belong to the muslim faith. The comments that Boris Johnson has made is not ok. If politions really want to open a conversation it is best to talk to the women that wear them. The media spread a lot of lies about the muslim culture and faith which get exhaustipated by politions. This is not on. Politions are in a position of power. It is wrong that so many abuse it. I, myself do not understand why niqabs, hijabs and burkas are worn. All that I know is that contrary to public belief it’s the personal choice of the muslim women. Let’s start a proper conversation with the muslim community and stop this persecution once and for all
